Our journey, which all of you have been a part of,  has brought us through up and downs in life.   What started as a working relationship,  turned into a friendship that supported us in tough times and ended in us sharing the culmination of this adventure on October 5th with you.

We have weathered many a storm, including the 2 years of separation during COVID,  but through it all we have had laughter, adventure and wonderful times with our respective families, extended families and friends. 

This wedding is planned to symbolize the coming together of two cultures (German and Costa Rican), with the traditions of our adoptive home – Virginia-, and the love of our four beautiful ( in every way) children: Clara, Catharina, Isabella and Andrew.  

But most importantly our story is built with each one of you,  the people that have seen us grow together and have lent your friendship, a shoulder or a hand.  Not all of you will be able to be with us on our special day but you will be in our hearts and minds: our departed Helmuth Busch, Volker Harms and Azhyadee Harms,  and those that for different reasons could not come for this event.   For those of you who will be here,  we thank you for making the journey, a block away or across the ocean.   THANK YOU.
